Kouhaku Uta Gassen Concept (2025)
Our second assignment for Typography II was to create a new identity for a music festival of our choosing. I chose NHK’s Kouhaku Uta Gassen
(NHK 紅白歌合戦), since I watch it every year with my family. I experimented with handlettering and abstracting Chinese characters, something I’m very interested in.
